ABOUT US
Moments and Memories Café is a newly established café located at 125 Muskoka Road South, in Gravenhurst, Ontario. Owner Sheryl Fallon and Manager/Operator Derek Owens invite you to come sit for a while, have a coffee, enjoy one of our daily grilled sandwich, soup and salad specials, browse our large selection of newspapers and magazines, talk to friends, or sit by the fire. We encourage all our visitors to step out of their comfort zones and have a memorable experience with us! Our all original menu is loaded with delicious healthy choices you won't find anywhere else:
- Grilled Sandwich with turkey, swiss cheese, pear and sundried tomato sauce on rosemary garlic flatbread
- Chicken wicked thai or triple mushroom fusion soup
- Fresh Spinach Salad with berries, nuts and raisins with balsamic dressing
- and much, much more!
Sheryl moved to Muskoka from Toronto to follow her dream of opening a cafe in one of the most beautiful parts of Ontario. She has spent 31 years in the corporate world, but had set a goal to 'retire' up north somewhere to own her own business.
Gravenhurst was a perfect fit, as it still has that 'small town' appeal, which was first and foremost in her plan. After visiting and researching several other communities, she felt that this would be the most mutually beneficial location (for Sheryl and the townspeople alike). The café has been receiving a lot of positive feedback, and seems to be just what the town needed! Our warm and cozy decor is a great place to relax, but we also offer take-out for those who can't take time away from their busy day.

With a great location in the heart of Gravenhurst, Moments and Memories Café is quickly becoming a local favourite in the downtown core for students, local folk and tourists alike! Check us out... you'll be glad you did!
Cheers,
Sheryl Fallon

Did You Know?
The Calydor Sanitorium was converted to a POW camp during WWII, and the grounds are now preserved parkland. Remains of the early uses of the property are still evident throughout the park, and a restored stone fish tank greets visitors at the entrance. On the grounds of the Ontario Fire College remains the F.R. Scott Memorial Hall. Originally the Massey Hall, built in 1915 by funds donated by the famous farm implement family, it was used as a patients’ recreation facility as part of the Muskoka Free Hospital. |
